  • Within our CRM Platform, we establish Legitimate Interest, Consent to Communicate and Consent to process data under GDPR requirements.

This is information collated to gain insight into browsing patterns and data. This does not identify individuals and will be deleted after 12 months.

  • In addition to the above we process information on behalf of our customers that includes:
    • Information submitted via our customers directly via submitted forms
      • Name (first and last name)
      • Contact details (Email, Company telephone and Company mobile number)
      • Company details (Name, Company Address,)
      • Job title
      • Details regarding the enquiry
    • When creating an account with us to purchase products, we ask the customer to complete an Account Form which would include Name, Company Address, Contact details such as email address and telephone number as well as Company Registration details and Financial references.
  • This data is entered into our internal account systems when a customer wishes to create an Account for purchase of goods.
  • This data is periodically reviewed to determine accounts are updated and whether still relevant for one to be open. See also below.

 

  1. Retention & deletion

Light Science Technologies Holdings Plc retains your information while you remain an active client, unless you make a request to delete your information.

 

If you stop being an active client, we will retain your information unless you request that your details be deleted; however, we will only contact you if we believe the information to be of ‘legitimate interest’.

 

If you have provided personal data to use via lightsciencetech.com, this data is reviewed periodically and updated as required with fresh information such as an individual changing company. However, data remains in the system for the duration of our CRM contract unless a specific request is made to delete.

 

If you have signed up to receive our newsletter / requested information from us, we will retain your information until you request it to be removed / deleted for a period of up to 5 years. After this point we will review the data and look to see if it still relevant to hold in our systems.
