Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC (AIM: LST) has extended its AgTech distribution framework agreement with Gavita International B.V., a global leader in horticultural lighting solutions and the parent company of Agrolux Nederland B.V.
Under the extended agreement, Light Science Technologies will continue as the exclusive UK distributor for Agrolux’s LED lighting range, including the high-efficiency Wega series, through to 31 December 2026. The partnership supports the supply of advanced lighting solutions for controlled environment agriculture, including glasshouses, polytunnels, and other indoor growing facilities.
Since the collaboration was first announced, the pipeline of global opportunities relating to this partnership has grown to over £24 million, up from approximately £10 million earlier in 2025. The expansion reflects strong demand for energy-efficient, high-performance lighting across both UK and international projects, supported by Light Science Technologies’ installation and technical expertise.
Light Science Technologies broader AgTech pipeline now stands at approximately £45 million, encompassing retrofit and new-build turnkey solutions.
This extension reinforces Light Science Technologies’ position as a trusted UK provider of integrated AgTech solutions and a key player in supporting sustainable food production worldwide.
